Compliance

OGC provides resources for testing the compliance of software with OGC specifications. Currently on-line testing resources are in place for Catalogue Services/Web (CSW) 2.0.1, Web Coverage Service (WCS) 1.0.0, Web Feature Service (WFS) 1.1.0, WFS 1.0.0, Web Map Service (WMS) 1.3.0, and WMS 1.1.1.

*TEAM Engine* (http://cite.opengeospatial.org/teamengine) Is the new official compliance engine for CSW 2.0.1, WFS 1.1.0, WFS 1.0.0, WMS 1.3.0, WMS 1.1.1.

*Legacy CITE Engine* (http://cite.opengeospatial.org/tsOGC) Is maintained for legacy testing of WCS 1.0.0 only and should otherwise be considered unsupported.

Off-line Compliance Test Suites available for download include: Catalog Service Interface 1.0, Coordinate Transformation 1.0, Gridded Coverages 1.0, Simple Features SQL 1.1, Simple Features COM 1.1, Simple Features CORBA 1.0. Those suites are hosted on the OGC site.

In addition, OGC provides on-line tools for GeoRSS, Geography Markup Language (GML) 2.1.2, and Web Map Context (WMC) 1.1.0 validation. These validation tools are not associated with official OGC Compliance Certification and are simple provided as a community resource.
