AI Pilot Phase 1 Kickoff Meeting, June 2007

A key event in the development of the Architecture Implementation Pilot is the Kickoff meeting. The Kickoff meeting is one of two times that the Pilot participants will meet face-to-face. All other development activities are accomplished using distributed communication methods. See Annex B of the CFP for a description of the Pilot Development Process.

The objectives of the Kickoff Meeting are:

  • To begin the Execution Phase of the Pilot.
  • To develop detailed plans for the Execution Phase.
  • To develop specific collaboration and interoperability goals for the Execution Phase.
  • To develop the detailed design based on the Pilot Architecture.
  • To develop user scenarios suitable for demonstration.

The Kickoff Meeting was held at the ESRIN facility of the European Space Agency.

The Kickoff Meeting Plan provides agendas, descriptions of the sessions and list of attendees.
